Description

The Post Office pillar box, located on the north corner of Walford Road, was designed by J W Penfold and built between 1866 and 1876. It features a hexagonal shape with a high, roll-moulded plinth, a ball cornice, and a raised ogee top adorned with a leaf pattern and topped with a pine-cone finial.
