Description
These are two early 19th-century houses located on Albion Road, with alterations made since their original construction. Each house is three storeys high and has three windows. Number 170 also contains a basement. The facades are stuccoed and feature incised lines, a frieze, cornice, and a blocking course. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars, though some have been altered. Number 170 has rebuilt steps leading to a four-panel door, while Number 172 features modern folding showroom doors. The houses contribute significantly to the group value of the surrounding buildings, as numbers 166 to 184 (even numbers) form a group.
