Description
66 Milton Grove is a mid-19th century villa that stands two storeys tall with a basement and features three windows. The building is constructed of stock brick and has a fairly low-pitched hipped roof covered with slate, which includes eaves soffits supported by long paired brackets. The upper floor windows are adorned with gauged near-flat brick arches set in stucco-lined reveals. The ground floor windows are framed by panelled stucco surrounds, complete with console bracketed cornices and projecting bracketed cills that have ornamental cast iron guards. The villa has four-paned sash windows. Access to the property is via seven steps leading to a prostyle Ionic porch, which has a dentil cornice and a round-arched entrance framed by a moulded architrave with impost blocks. The entrance features a four-panel half-glazed door, flanked by sidelights and topped with a wide fanlight. Additionally, there are lotus-headed area railings.
