Description
Nos 21 to 27 on Northchurch Road are a group of four symmetrical houses built in the early to mid-19th century. Each house is two storeys high with a basement and features two windows. They are constructed of stock brick, with a stuccoed basement and a ground floor band. Above this, stuccoed quoins support a frieze, cornice, and blocking course. The sash windows, which have glazing bars and/or margin lights, are framed with moulded architraves. The ground floor windows are tripartite and topped with console bracketed cornices. Access to the houses is via four steps leading to prostyle porches. The doors have two long panels and rectangular fanlights. These houses, along with Nos 17 to 35, form a cohesive group.
