Description

No. 186 on Dalston Lane is an early to mid-18th century, two-storey villa with three windows. It is constructed from stock brick and features a moderately low-pitched hipped slate roof with eaves soffit. The sash windows have gauged flat brick arches and lost bars, set in stucco-lined reveals, and internal shutters are still present. The central entrance has a six-panel door with a stucco surround, which is the only remnant of a former prostyle porch. This building is part of a group that includes Nos. 182 to 186.
