Description
The Ship Public House is a three-storey building with an additional set-back storey, dated 1887. It features a narrow but elaborate painted front with two arched doorways on either side of a central window. A large bay window supported by brackets is located on the first floor, topped by an iron railing, with a smaller bay window featuring red brickwork on either side. The building is richly decorated with carved or moulded details and is listed as an example of a decorated public house from the later 19th century.
