Description

This drinking fountain, located on the east side of the road at the north end of Blackfriars Bridge, was created in 1861. It was sculpted by Wills Bros and cast by Coalbrookdale Foundry. The fountain features a circular granite bowl set on a baluster base, which supports a bronze figure of the woman of Samaria.
