Description

Newsclip House, located on Black Friars Lane, is a mid-19th century building that stands three storeys tall, with later dormers added. The structure is made of polychromatic brick, and the ground floor is stuccoed, featuring large windows that are separated by grouped piers topped with Gothic capitals. The entrance is situated on a splayed corner, with a door set in an arched recess that has a shouldered gable above it. The upper floors are adorned with paired segment-headed windows located in banded arched recesses. The building is finished with plain coping and a crowning gable that includes a finial at the splayed corner.
