Description

Nos 13 and 15 on Moorgate, built between 1890 and 1893 by Aston Webb and Bell, is a corner building designed in a modified Flemish gothic style. It features a Portland stone façade with a polished granite base. The building has four storeys, along with two storeys of dormers beneath a slated roof. A corner entrance is highlighted by a richly carved oriel that rises to a slated spire. The design includes steeply hipped roofs at each party wall and prominent chimney-stacks.
