Description
No. 6 Lothbury is a building constructed in 1932, attributed to Hall, Easton and Robertson, featuring a Classical design made of Portland stone. It stands six storeys tall, with an added recessed attic. The facade has a rusticated wall face and three round-arched openings on the ground floor, which are adorned with decorative ironwork. Above these, there are stylized Corinthian pilasters spanning three storeys, with pedimented windows on the first floor and a carved frieze along the entablature. The upper levels include three pairs of windows, while the added attic is made of brick and is blind at the front, with one window return on either side and a rear section constructed of plain, white-glazed brick.
