Description
51 and 52 Coleman Street is a mid to late 19th-century classical corner building known for its refined design. It stands three storeys tall with a recessed attic and features four windows on the main facade and five on the return. The ground storey is made of polished pink granite and includes two doorways with pediments; one doorway is disused, while the other has a panel of anthemion decoration above it, although the glazing has been altered. The upper part of the building is constructed from Portland stone and showcases a Corinthian order of pink granite columns on each main storey. The first-floor windows are pedimented and adorned with carved decoration, and the roof is slated.
