Description

No. 53 Coleman Street is a tall, narrow classical building dating from the mid to late 19th century. It is constructed of Portland stone and features carved decoration. The building has four storeys, plus an additional storey set within a frieze topped by a large, bracketed cornice. At the ground storey, there are two decorative cast iron columns, and there is no entrance visible. Above, the building has three-light windows on the two storeys above the ground floor.
