Description

The 'Ritual' sculpture, created by Antanas Braždys between 1968 and 1969, is located on the west side of Coleman Street, next to Woolgate Exchange. This abstract piece is made of highly polished stainless steel and stands approximately 275 centimeters tall, mounted on a tubular steel plinth. The sculpture features a hierarchy of four contrasting yet symmetrical volumes that appear balanced or hovering atop one another. It consists of a flared base, a curved tube, a cube, and a complex tubular form with a double curve.
