Description
Grafton Bridge is a public road bridge that spans the Grand Union Canal, built around 1812 to 1816 and strengthened in 1969. The bridge is constructed from brick and stone and features a single elliptical arch. It has cast-iron rope fenders along the towpath, a brick band, and solid parapets with piers topped with stone coping. Additionally, there is a concrete retaining wall for the towpath.
