Description
Numbers 24-28, a terrace of five houses built around 1829, were constructed by James Sim, James Sim Jr., and Robert Sim. The buildings are made of yellow stock brick and feature a stucco band on the first floor. They rise to four storeys with basements and have two windows each. Numbers 27 and 28 slightly project from the main facade. The round-arched doorways are recessed and adorned with radial patterned fanlights and double panelled doors. Recessed sash windows are topped with gauged brick flat arches, and there are continuous cast-iron balconies above the first-floor sashes, with number 27 featuring casements. The terrace is finished with parapets, a stucco cornice, and a blocking course. The interiors have not been inspected.
