Description

The Tomb of Joan Moggridge in Hampstead Cemetery is a Celtic cross dating from around 1904. It is made of terracotta and stands on a stepped terracotta base. The south face features high relief moulded panels depicting a vine with grapes, while the north face has a similar design that includes a panel of doves on the shaft. This tomb is a fine example of its type.
