Description
The Tomb of Jacob Arnhold in Hampstead Cemetery is a Grade II listed structure dating from around 1903. It features a stone pedestal with a headstone that has an inscribed shrouded figure kneeling behind it. The figure's torso is visible over the top, with the left arm supporting its head, eyes closed, and the right hand holding an inscribed urn. The top of the headstone bears the inscription, "How good! How kind!/And he is gone!" Surrounding the tomb is a stone kerb with a pyramid cap die and geometric patterned cast-iron railings.
