Description
No. 7 Rugby Street is a terraced house built around 1725, with some alterations made in the late 19th century. The building is constructed of yellow stock brick, and the parapet has been rebuilt using multi-coloured stock brick. It stands four storeys tall and includes a cellar, featuring three windows. The ground floor has a late 19th-century public house appearance, characterized by Corinthian capitals on granite pilasters that support a fascia with a projecting cornice, along with bracket and pediment consoles. The windows have gauged brick flat arches and recessed sashes, with the central window on the second and third floors featuring bracketed sills. The parapet completes the structure. Although the interior has not been inspected, it is noted to retain the original staircase and some panelling.
