Description
No. 9 Rugby Street is a terraced house built around 1725, with a refronting likely done around 1800 and renovations completed in the late 20th century. The building is constructed of yellow stock brick, with the parapet rebuilt using multi-coloured bricks and a channelled cement rendered ground floor. It stands four storeys tall with a basement and features two windows and an arched doorway. The windows have gauged brick flat arches above recessed sash frames. The parapet completes the exterior. Although the interior was not inspected, it is noted to retain a staircase with turned balustrades and panelling.
