Description
Number 9 is a terraced house located on the north side of Lincoln's Inn Fields, dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of yellow brick with a stucco ground floor that features joint lines. The building has a stucco cornice and a parapet, topped by a slate mansard roof with dormers. It stands four storeys tall, including an attic and basement, and has three windows. The wide, semi-elliptical arched doorway is adorned with quarter Greek Doric columns that support a cornice-head; it includes a fanlight and double panelled doors. The first-floor casement windows are complemented by a 20th-century wrought-iron balcony. Recessed sash windows are topped with gauged flat brick arches. The interior has not been inspected. The property also features attached cast-iron railings to the areas.
