Description

The Kitchen Garden Walls to Kenwood Nursery comprise approximately 200 metres of brick wall, with returns, located to the south of Kenwood House. Constructed around 1795, the walls are built of stock brick and stand over 2 metres in height, topped with brick copings. Flat buttresses punctuate the wall's length. Originally built as the kitchen garden for Kenwood, the walls now enclose the nursery. Their significance lies in their contribution to the setting of Kenwood House and are included in the listing for that reason.
