Description
Number 2 is a terraced house built between 1720 and 1721, and it was refaced around 1860. It was constructed by E Chapman. The building is made of painted stucco and has four storeys plus a basement, featuring three windows. The entrance has an architraved doorway with a bracketed cornice, a fanlight, and a panelled door. The windows are architraved 2-pane sashes, with the ground and first floors having bracketed cornices. There are moulded sill strings, and similar strings are located at two-thirds the height of the windows on the second and third floors. A cornice is present at the third-floor level, topped by a parapet. The interior has not been inspected. The house is complemented by attached cast-iron railings that have pineapple finials.
