Description
Number 17 is a terraced house built between 1780 and 1785, which was refronted in the early 19th century and restored in the late 20th century by Donald Insall & Associates for the London Borough Council. The house is constructed of yellow stock brick, showing signs of tuck pointing, with the third floor refaced. The ground floor and first floor feature a stucco sill band. The building has four storeys and a basement, with two windows. It has a round-arched doorway with a fluted surround, a radial fanlight, and a panelled door. The windows have gauged brick flat arches and are set back. The roof is topped with a parapet. The interior has not been inspected. The house is complemented by attached cast-iron railings with torch flambe finials in front of the areas.
