Description
No. 8 Perrins Lane is a terraced cottage built around 1746 and refronted in 1887. The exterior is finished in stucco, while the rear retains its original half-timber facade with weatherboarding. The cottage is two storeys high and has one window. The wooden shopfront has been converted for domestic use and features pilasters with enriched console brackets that support a fascia with a projecting cornice. On the ground floor, there are three-light windows with arched light heads on either side of a panelled door that has an overlight. The first floor has a central recessed sash window with later louvred shutters. The parapet includes a blind central window. The interior has not been inspected.
