Description

Numbers 6, 8, and 10 are three terraced houses built around 1795 for W. Adam, which were converted into flats in the late 20th century by the London Borough of Camden. The houses are constructed of yellow stock brick, with the second and third floors of Nos. 8 and 10 featuring 20th-century refacing. Number 8 is painted. There is a stucco sill band at the first floor. The buildings rise four storeys and have basements, with two windows each. They feature round-arched doorways with pilaster-jambs, fluted cornice-heads, fanlights (with a radial pattern at No. 8), and panelled doors. The recessed sashes have gauged brick flat arches, except for the upper floors of Nos. 8 and 10. Wrought-iron balconies are present at the first-floor windows, and there are parapets. The interiors have not been inspected. Additionally, there are attached cast-iron railings with tasselled spearhead finials leading to the areas in front of the houses.
