Chambers. Early C18. Stucco with rusticated ground floor. Slate mansard roof with dormers. 2 storeys, attic and basement. 8-window range. South elevation has wood doorcase with Ionic columns, flush panel reveals, open pediment and round-headed doorway with patterned radial fanlight. Cartouche with crest of Gray's Inn at 1st floor level. Recessed sash windows. Cornice and blocking course. North elevation similar (without entrance) but with 2 cast-iron trellis balconies with tented canopies to both pairs of end windows at 1st floor level. INTERIORS: not inspected. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: attached cast-iron railings with urn finials to areas.
