Description
This is a cast iron water pump and three bollards located opposite Brownlow Street, dating from the 19th century. The pump is square in plan and features a cushion base adorned with the arms of St Andrew and St George. It has a shaft decorated with strapwork, two spouts, and a handle, topped by a later lamp. The three surrounding bollards are of the cannon type, with two of them inscribed "St. P S.W.D. 1826." The bollards were listed separately on May 14, 1974.
