Description
The gates and railings at Gray's Inn Gardens, located on the south side, are notable wrought-iron entrance gates that date back to 1723. They are flanked by stone piers that feature 16th-century griffons holding shields depicting Pegasus. The wrought-iron railings, which were added in the 20th century, are mounted on a brick sleeper wall, replacing the original railings that were removed during the Second World War.
