Description

The sundial in the centre of Gray's Inn Square dates from the 18th century. It is made of stone and features a baluster form with a brass dial set on a stepped plinth. There is a plaque with the inscription "Ex dono Master Sir Montagu Sharpe KC 1930". The sundial was originally located in Gray's Inn Gardens.
