Description
The Court, also known as Church Court, North Court, Middle Court, West Court, and South Court, is a building dating from the 18th and 19th centuries, located on the site of an ancient manor. It features rebuildings from the late 18th century and 19th century, along with 20th-century additions. The main block consists of three storeys and has three windows. It is topped with a red tile hipped roof and has brick dentil eaves. The walls are made of red brick in Flemish bond, with rubbed flat arches. The first and second floors have sash windows, with the outer windows being wider. The ground floor includes mullion and transom windows with 10 lights on the east side and 6 lights elsewhere. There is a balancing wing that extends two windows and then projects forward as one window, featuring similar architectural details. Additional more recent structures are located to the north.
