Description
Fountain House is a semi-detached house built in the early 19th century, with 20th-century alterations and additions. It features grey brick construction with a stucco ground floor and a plain stucco band at the first-floor level. The house is three storeys tall and has a double fronted design with three windows. The entrance is located in a recessed, single-storey extension on the north side, which has round-headed windows. The windows have gauged brick flat arches and recessed sashes with 20th-century glazing; the outer windows were formerly tripartite. The outer windows on the first floor are adorned with cast-iron balconies. The former main entrance is on the east side and is now a French window that is accessed by steps with cast-iron railings. The interior has not been inspected.
