Description

This building, located to the south of Grimstone Cottage (The Old Shop), is a former house and shop that dates back to the 18th century. It has two storeys in some parts and one storey in others. The structure is timber-framed and plastered, topped with pantiled roofs. There is an end chimney stack with a plain shaft. The building features two windows, which are sashes set in flush frames with vertical glazing bars. An off-centre door is accompanied by a late 19th-century open timber porch. Additionally, there is an early 19th-century single-storey extension on the north side that originally contained the shop, which includes a small-paned canted bow window.
