Description

Grimstone Cottage is a 17th-century house with one and a half storeys and a three-cell plan. It is timber-framed and has plastered panels. The roof is covered with pantiles, including some black glazed pantiles. There is an internal chimney stack featuring two plain attached shafts made of gault brick. The cottage has two 2-light and one 3-light 20th-century casement windows, along with a large gabled dormer. Originally, it was divided into two cottages, but it is now essentially one house.
