Description

Hermitage Farmhouse is a 17th-century timber-framed and plastered house designed in an L-shaped plan, featuring a crosswing at the west end and a rear wing. It stands two storeys tall. The windows are 19th-century double-hung sashes with glazing bars, and there is a 20th-century door and porch. The roof is tiled, complemented by a large, square, red brick chimney stack, while the rear wing is covered with pantiles. Inside, the farmhouse showcases exposed beams with scroll stops and ceiling joists.
