Description

Willow Cottage is a 17th-century timber-framed and plastered house located on The Street in Lidgate. It has been renovated and altered in the 20th century but still retains its original character. The building is two storeys high, with a gable on the south-west end that jetties on the first storey and is weatherboarded in the gable. It features casement windows. The original thatched roof was replaced with clay tiles in 2005. Willow Cottage is part of a group that includes Hollyhock Cottage, the Star Inn, and the premises adjoining the Star Inn to the south-east.
