Description

Hollyhock Cottage is a 17th century timber-framed and plastered cottage, with the date 1765 painted on the front, suggesting it may be older than indicated. The cottage has one storey and attics, featuring casement windows. The roof is made of corrugated iron, which was formerly thatched, and includes three gabled dormers. Hollyhock Cottage is part of a group that includes the Star Inn, premises adjoining the Star Inn to the southeast, and Willow Cottage.
