Thatched Cottages, located on The Street in Boxted, is a timber-framed and plastered house dating from the 17th to 18th century. The building has one storey and attics, featuring small casement windows with glazing bars and two doorways. The roof is thatched and includes three dormer windows along with a central chimney stack. The cottages were renovated in the 20th century.
