Description

Nos 3 and 4 on The Street is a 17th century timber-framed and plastered house that has undergone later alterations. It features a two-storey cross-wing with attics at the southeast end, while the main block is one storey with attics. The front has casement windows with glazing bars. The roof is tiled and includes a large gabled dormer on the main block, which has a moulded bressummer at the gable. The gable slightly jetties on three curved brackets. The main block has a central stack with three diagonally set shafts, and at the southeast end, there is a large external chimney stack with tabled offsets.
