House and attached flanking walls and steps. c1850, with mid C20 alterations. Yellow brick with ashlar dressings and hipped slate roofs with 2 truncated ridge stacks. Plinth, angle pilasters, wooden eaves. Square plan. 2 storeys; 3-window range. Windows are mainly plain sashes. Slightly projecting centre bay with 4 stone steps flanked by urns, and Ionic portico and entablature, covering panelled door and overlight. Above, a glazed door, mid C20, in C19 eared architrave. Mid C20 balcony railing. On each side, a canted bay window, 2 storeys, 3 lights. Left return has 2 canted bay windows, 2 storeys, 3 lights. Curved flanking walls approx. 5m long, with slab coping. Central gateway in each wall with panelled square piers; similar, larger end piers. INTERIOR: wooden stair with double turned balusters and scrolled handrail. Ground floor front room, to right, has 2 elliptical arched cupboards wet in recesses, with glazed doors.
