Description

This is a terrace of four early 19th century houses, originally timber-framed and plastered, now with a roughcast exterior. The terrace comprises numbers 5 to 8 of Bridewell Street. The houses are two storeys high and feature a five-window façade with double-hung sash windows containing vertical glazing bars, set within flush cased frames. Each house has a six-panel door within a simple reveal. The roofs are slate covered. Numbers 5 to 8 form a group with numbers 13 to 15, 30 to 34, 37 to 44, the Red Lion Inn and numbers 46 to 48 on Bridewell Street.
