Description

This barn, located 100 yards north of Brook Farmhouse, dates back to the early 17th century. It features four bays and one aisle, constructed with a timber frame and covered in weatherboarding, topped with an asbestos roof. The structure includes arch-bracing and aisle bracing that extends down to the aisle tie-beam. The roof, which was added in the 18th century, has clasped purlins.
