Description

Pine Cottages is a pair of cottages dating from the mid 18th century. They are 1½ storeys tall and have attics. The cottages are timber-framed with brick nogging, now covered in pebble dash. The long straight wall features wind-braces that form saltire patterns, although these are mostly hidden. The roof, which was originally thatched, is now made of corrugated iron and has an axial chimney stack. There are gabled casement dormers and boarded entrance doors, along with 20th-century casement windows.
