Description
Lackford Manor is a house built in 1867, with a fragment of an 18th-century house at the north-west end. It has an irregular plan and features Gothic details, standing two storeys high with attics. The exterior is made of red brick, accented with deep stone hood-moulded lintels, and topped with a gabled roof covered in plain clay tiles. The windows are sash types without glazing bars, while smaller windows consist of paired sashes or cruciform casements. The entrance is marked by a two-storey gabled porch with a stone Tudor-arched opening. Inside, the spacious main rooms showcase good joinery. The 18th-century wing includes a truncated staircase with turned balusters, some panelled doors, and additional joinery, all encased in red brickwork from 1867.
