Description
The building is a house that was formerly a school and schoolhouse, constructed in 1871, as indicated by a tablet fixed to the schoolroom. The schoolhouse features red brick with mock half-timbering set on a flint rubble plinth, and has a slated roof with an axial chimney. It includes 20th-century casement windows. The gabled one-storey porch has pierced bargeboards and a two-centred arched boarded entrance door. The schoolroom is made of flint with reused limestone dressings, and has gault brick eaves and a dentil verge, also with a slated roof. The verge is adorned with small-pane cruciform casements.
