Forge Cottage is an 18th-century cottage with a two-cell lobby entrance plan, standing two storeys tall and featuring two windows. The building is timber-framed and rendered, with some areas displaying herringbone pargetting. It has a plain clay tiled roof and an axial stack. The windows are 19th-century casements.
