Description
Dunroamin is a row of three estate cottages, originally four, dating from the 17th century and later. The cottages are one-and-a-half storeys tall, constructed with a timber frame and rendered exterior, topped with a thatched roof. There are two internal chimney stacks and one external chimney at each gable end, all featuring plain red brick shafts. The windows include two-light and three-light small-paned casements, and there are three tiled gabled dormers, one of which has cast-iron casements with square leaded panes. The entrance to No. 11 has a plank door, while the other cottages have glazed doors. The row is not uniform in age; No. 11 shows a noticeable change in ceiling height between rooms, and a partition wall has been removed. It is likely that No. 12 serves as the core of the range, which has been extended on both sides at different times.
