House. C17, with C19 exterior. Timber-framed and roughcast-rendered. C20 double roman tiles. 2 storeys and cellar. 2 window range: sashes with a single vertical bar in flush cased frames. Door at right end of front, with 6 flush panels and a plain rectangular fanlight, set in a moulded architrave with flat cornice roof above. A wing at the rear has a double gabled roof. INTERIOR: few timbers exposed inside. An edge-halved and bridled scarf joint in the rear wallplate. A derelict wing at the rear now forms part of the premises of No.47A (qv).
