Description

No. 60 Old Market Street is an attached house dating from the late 17th century, which was refronted in the late 19th century. It features a timber frame with a brick front and a pantile roof, and has a double-depth plan. The building stands three storeys high and has a two-window range. The gabled front has boxed eaves facing the street, and includes a 19th-century shop front with a left-hand doorway that is set back, a plate-glass window, a fascia, and a cornice. There are concrete lintels above 20th-century casements. The interior has been remodelled and is incorporated with No. 59.
