2. An early C17 timber-framed and plastered range of houses. Altered in the C18 and later. Built on an L shaped plan with wings extending north and west. The west wing has a jettied upper storey and a jettied gable with the remains of carved bargeboards and a moulded bressumer with the date 1608. The jetties are supported on console brackets. Nos 18 and 19 have C20 pargetting in panels. 2 storeys. Nos 16 and 17 have double-hung sashes with glazing bars in flush cased frames. Nos 18 and 19 have casements, some with leaded lights. The doors are boarded. Roofs tiled, with 2 C17 chimney stacks. One with 2 octagonal shafts on a rectangular base and the other with diagonal shafts.

All the listed buildings in The Street with Green Farmhouse, The Green (Lower) form a group.
