Description

No. 4 Lambseth Street is a house that likely dates from the 17th century and is timber-framed, although it was refronted with brick around 1870. The roof is covered with black-glazed pantiles and the building has two storeys with a four-window range. The central entrance features a four-panelled door with an overlight above it. To the right of the door is a late 19th-century plate-glass shop display window, while to the left is a 2/2 horned sash window. Both the door and the windows are set beneath rendered and painted skewback arches. The first floor has four similar windows. The roof is gabled, and there is an external gable-end stack on the south side. The interior has not been inspected.
